The gap

Your streaming library can't reach the booth.

Millions of club-standard players read music only from USB. Your entire streaming crate — the tracks you actually pay for — never makes it onto the decks without dragging a laptop into the booth.

🔌

Today: laptop or nothing

To play streamed tracks you tether a laptop or phone, juggle adapters, and pray the Wi-Fi in the booth holds. Most DJs just give up and pre-download to USB by hand.

With LinkCache: just USB

The bridge caches your licensed tracks to a USB drive in the player's own library format — beatgrid, key and BPM baked in. Plug the stick into any CDJ and it's all just there.

How it works

Three steps from stream to deck.

Link your music

Connect the DJ-licensed services you already subscribe to — Beatport, TIDAL, SoundCloud Go+ — plus your own files.

Cache to USB

Queue tracks in the app. LinkCache pulls them over Wi-Fi and writes a native rekordbox or Engine DJ library to your drive, encrypted and subscription-bound.

Plug in & play

Eject, move the stick to your player, and browse your streamed crate natively — no laptop, no account login at the booth.

Try it now

The companion app, live in your browser.

This is the real interface — browse, queue, sync to USB, manage your cached library and switch between gear. Pick your player and take it for a spin.

  • Pick your gear and watch the bridge lock on
  • Queue tracks and sync them to the USB drive
  • Manage and un-sync your cached library
  • Safely eject when you're done

Built right

Small device. Serious engineering.

🛡️

Licensed & encrypted

Cached audio stays in each service's encrypted, subscription-bound format. Nothing is stored decrypted; tracks deauthorize if a subscription lapses.

🎛️

Native libraries

Writes true rekordbox and Engine DJ libraries — beatgrid, cue points, key and BPM — so players read your crate with zero fuss.

🪨

Machined aluminum

A CNC gunmetal shell, 92 × 62 × 18 mm, with a laser-etched mark and a single illuminated sync button. Built to live in a booth.

📶

Wi-Fi 6 caching

Pulls full crates fast over dual-band Wi-Fi 6, then works entirely offline once the library is on the stick.

🔌

USB-A + USB-C

Host port for your drive, USB-C for the player link and 5V power. One device, the whole signal chain.

🤘

No laptop, ever

The whole point: leave the computer at home. Your streaming library shows up on the gear you already trust.

The math

Don't buy a new controller. Upgrade the one you've got.

Streaming-ready players cost thousands — and most DJs already own perfectly good gear. LinkCache adds the same "stream straight to the decks" capability to the equipment in your bag, for a fraction of the price of replacing it.

The expensive way

Buy a new streaming-ready controller

$1,500–2,500+ per unit

Replace gear that already works just to get built-in streaming.

  • Thousands out of pocket for hardware you mostly already have
  • Re-learn a new layout and workflow
  • Sell or shelve the gear you already trust
  • Still locked to that one unit's player ecosystem
VS
The LinkCache way

Keep your gear · add the bridge

A fraction of a new deck

One small device gives your current players the same capability — early-access pricing for waitlist members.

  • Keep the CDJs or controllers you already own
  • Same booth, same muscle memory, zero relearning
  • Stream your licensed library straight to USB
  • One bridge works across your whole setup
Save thousands versus replacing your setup. Get streaming on the decks you already own — without the price tag of a brand-new controller.

How the music works — *Streaming tiers bridge your own Beatport, TIDAL or SoundCloud Go+ subscription to your decks; those services are billed separately by the provider. LinkCache streaming requires signed provider agreements (in progress) and runs live within their terms. Own-files mode needs no subscription and works today. Pricing is a target for launch and may change.

One device · eight targets

Fits the gear you run.

The same hardware ships in eight firmware editions across the two major player ecosystems — pick the one that matches your setup.

Heads up — LinkCache is a concept in active development, with patent pending on its caching method. The app here runs on sample data and player names are listed for compatibility only. Spotify isn't supported on any edition (no compliant DJ-caching path exists). Join the waitlist below to follow the build.

Questions

The things DJs ask first.

No — that's the whole point. LinkCache caches your tracks to a USB stick in your player's native format. You move the stick to your CDJ or Engine DJ player and browse your library directly. No laptop, no phone tethered to the gear.

If your player reads a USB drive, it's the target. There are eight firmware editions across the two major ecosystems — rekordbox (Pioneer / AlphaTheta: CDJ-2000NXS2, XDJ-1000, XDJ-RX3, OPUS-QUAD, and CDJs in a DJM-V10 booth) and Engine DJ (Denon / Numark: SC6000, Prime 4, Mixstream Pro). Pick the edition that matches your setup.

The DJ-licensed services: Beatport / Beatsource, TIDAL, and SoundCloud Go+, plus your own audio files. Spotify is not supported on any edition — there is no compliant way to cache Spotify for DJ use, so we don't claim one.

Final pricing isn't locked yet, but it's designed to be a small fraction of buying a new streaming-ready controller — those run $1,500–2,500+. Join the waitlist for early-access pricing the moment it's set.

LinkCache is built around the same licensed, encrypted caching model that streaming services already permit for DJ hardware. Cached audio stays encrypted and bound to your active subscription, and deauthorizes if your subscription lapses. The shipping product depends on finalizing those streaming licenses — which is exactly the work underway.
